List building is one of the most important things that you need to do to build a stable internet business. However, it is a skill that takes time to master.

It can be likened to weight training. You start off slowly so that you do not injure yourself, also try to eat right and then follow a program. With each session you try to push yourself a bit further and pick up more weights.

I remember when I first started out with internet marketing I simply could not reach above a certain income. The primary reason for this is that it was because I was sending all my traffic to a sales page.

Think about this carefully what would you prefer a one time sale or repeat sales. Most of your profits will come from your backend. It is very important to follow up relentlessly with your autoresponder. It is a proven fact that your prospect needs to see your offer at least seven times before you will make a sale.

As I likened list building to weight training when you start building your list you need to first setup your autoresponder right. Then you take baby steps by setting up messages and testing the intervals and effectiveness of those messages in your autoresponder.

For example I will see at which stage most people remove themselves from my newsletter and try to make alterations that will reduce this. I also test different email copy. I have found that split testing different copy I was able to sell certain products while the other version of the email copy did not work and I made no sales.

Finally, you must always be looking for improvements to make to increase your traffic to your squeeze page and also the email copy that you use. This is a gradual process and you will always be learning something.

Are you really interested in driving massive traffic to your website?
